Holy Wisdom Monastery welcomes renowned lens-based artist Mark Weller as the featured guest artist for an upcoming solo exhibition. On Friday, February 21, the monastery will host an artist’s reception and talk at Holy Wisdom’s Gallery, where Weller will present his critically acclaimed Timestacked cloud series – a striking visual exploration of the fourth dimension of time through photography. A curator from Manhattan’s Museum of Modern Art has described Weller’s work as “absolutely incredible… beautiful and dynamic.” Reflecting on the opportunity, Weller shares, “I am delighted to present this solo show at Holy Wisdom. It’s a wonderful chance to share my work close to home.” Over the past five years, Weller’s artwork has been exhibited in nearly 200 museums and galleries across the U.S. and internationally. His innovative approach to time and landscape photography has earned him widespread recognition.
