Timestack photography of clouds sunrise over trees

Most people look east at sunrise and west at sunset. This image shows what they are missing, when you purposely look at the sky in the opposite direction. This is the western sky at sunrise. Morning light is the best light of the day; and this image captures the subtle yet rapid change in lighting conditions against a slowly moving texture of expanding clouds over several minutes. It is always special to catch “golden hour” at the start of your day and mark another 24 hours in your continuum.
